AnnadataHub is a digital agricultural information platform operated from Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, India. We provide AI-assisted farming guidance, price information, government scheme information and community features for Indian farmers.

AnnadataHub is a private service — not a government portal or official agricultural authority.

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account
• You must be a resident of India or have interest in Indian agriculture
• You must provide accurate information when registering
• One account per person — multiple accounts are not allowed

• Keep your login credentials secure
• You are responsible for all activity on your account
• Report any unauthorized access to your account immediately
• Do not share your account with others

When posting on FarmGram community feed:

• Post only genuine farming-related content
• Do not post false, misleading or harmful agricultural advice
• Do not post offensive, abusive, defamatory or illegal content
• Do not post content that violates any Indian law
• Do not post commercial advertisements or spam
• Respect fellow farmers — no harassment or bullying
• We reserve the right to remove any violating content without notice
• Repeated violations may result in account termination

You must NOT use AnnadataHub to:

• Spread false agricultural information that could harm farmers
• Commit any activity that violates Indian law including IT Act 2000, IPC
• Attempt to hack, disrupt or damage our systems
• Scrape or copy our data without permission
• Impersonate government agencies or agricultural authorities

When paid features are introduced:

• All prices will be displayed clearly in Indian Rupees (₹) including GST
• Payments processed securely through Razorpay (RBI licensed payment gateway)
• Refund policy will be clearly stated before any purchase
• You will be notified of any price changes with 30 days advance notice
• GST receipts will be provided for all paid transactions

All content, design, code and technology of AnnadataHub is protected under Indian copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute our content without written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, applicable Indian laws, or that engage in activity harmful to farmers or our platform.

These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of AnnadataHub shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, India.

We may update these terms with 15 days advance notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of new terms.

This Privacy Policy is in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011.

AnnadataHub, operated from Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, India, is the Data Fiduciary responsible for processing your personal data as defined under India's DPDP Act, 2023.

We collect only data that is necessary to provide our service:

• Account data: Name, email address, phone number (optional), state
• Usage data: Questions asked, features used, language preference
• Crop scan photos: Processed for disease analysis only — not stored permanently
• FarmGram posts: Content you choose to post publicly
• Device data: Browser type for technical purposes only

We do NOT collect: Financial details, Aadhaar numbers, biometric data, location tracking.

Under DPDP Act 2023, we collect your data only for these specific purposes:

• To provide personalized farming advice based on your state and crops
• To maintain your account and provide customer support
• To send important farming alerts and government scheme notifications
• To improve accuracy of AI for Indian farming conditions
• To process payments when paid features are introduced

As an Indian citizen, you have the following rights under India's DPDP Act:

• Right to Access: Know what personal data we hold about you
• Right to Correction: Update or correct your personal data
• Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your account and data
• Right to Grievance Redressal: Raise concerns about data processing

• Passwords are encrypted using bcrypt — never stored in plain text
• All communications use HTTPS encryption

We do NOT sell, rent or trade your personal data to any third party.

We may share data only in these cases:

• With payment processors (Razorpay) for processing payments — only necessary transaction data
• If required by Indian law, court order or government authority
• To protect rights, safety and security of our users and platform

• Account data retained as long as account is active
• Deleted accounts: data removed within 30 days
• Crop scan photos: deleted immediately after analysis
• AI questions: may be retained for up to 12 months to improve service
